May I verify what will happen if you have deposited money to your BPI Express teller then as you inquire for your balance the ATM states that the account holder is not enrolled? What happens to the amount that you have deposited? Thank you

          • Zi says

            April 30, 2016 at 5:17 PM

@Kristine Banks require government-issued IDs with your picture in it. It’s not enough that you have some documents with written things in it, they need these written things attached to a face. Thus, the ID pictures. But since you’re opening for a payroll account, from what I know, most companies are affiliated to certain bank branches in opening payroll accounts for their employees. You need your company’s form or request for opening an account with that particular bank branch. Make sure you know the name of the person who has custody of it from your company.

They will deduct a certain amount each month while your balance is below 3k. Not really sure how much is the deductions though. They will continue to deduct until it goes to 0 balance which will eventually close your account, assuming it stays below maintaining balance. Thanks!

Yap, open any of the savings account and then enroll them online so you can check the balance real time via internet. You just need to provide the account number to your clients so they can deposit or transfer payments to you. 🙂

Hi! Dala ko is Passport and drivers license.

Almost all savings account in the PH gives low interest rate, around 0.025% p.a. You can try to have time deposits but it’s still low. If your goal is to grow your money, put them to investments like UITF, mutual fund and other investment vehicle. But of course, you need to have basic knowledge and information about them first. You can find basic and foundational guide on this blog. You may also read other filipino personal finance blog or better attend personal finance related seminars. Godbless!

And magkano pala minimum widthrawal? Thanks

I used transfer to anyone to deposit to a savings account that starts with “0”‘s hence it was a 12 digit account number. The mobile app notified that savings account has only 10 digits, I removed the 2 “0”‘s at the beginning of the recipient account number. Is it still a valid savings account if I removed the two zeroes? will the recipient receive the deposit. Thanks in advance and good day!

If it’s a personal account, you may need to provide identifications and other legal permits to properly claim the money. I’m also not sure if it’s subjected to estate tax since the owner already died. If it’s an ATM, you can just withdraw the money to any BPI atm machines. Thanks!

Hi, I applied for bpi atm but for the company po, I mean para sa salary ko. Then I went to the wrong branch, it wasn’t the branch I’m supposed to apply. Can I transfer it to the branch kung saan connected yung company ko? Will there be problem to that? But same area lang sila, magkalapit sila na branch tha’s why I got confused. Thank you.

Hi! My savings account has a maintaining balance of 3k. What if i widraw them all. Will my account be closed automatically? Or is there a certain period of time before it closes? And assuming that it was closed. Can I open a new saving account or reopen that account again?? Thank you.

As soon it reached 0 it will be close. You can always open a new one. You can’t re-open a closed account. Thanks!
