I tried to ask to a security guard in landbank, he said that if the proof of billing is not under your name or not the same with your address you should provide a barangay certificates proof of your residency..

I want to open a savings bank, I am new to this business. How much is the interest rate (in peso per 500)? Is it possible that after a year I can transfer the savings into a time deposit account?

    Good day,
LandBank Dasmariñas asked me for my salary bank details. I said I am an OFW and leaving for abroad soon and that I am married to a foreigner. They ask me so many things even if I presented them my NSO marriage certificate, valid IDs, proof of billing, pictures, they asked me for my passport which is at the embassy for visa stamping, they asked for my husband’s ID. I feel indignant coz I’ve been there twice and I am 3months pregnant… How inconsiderate!

hassle pala ng landbank. Iat first I really though eto lang ang requirements which is eto rin ang nilagay nila sa table ng new accounts department. It says they only need at least 1 valid ID, 2pc 1×1 ID. dinagdag ko na rin yung TIN which i know is necessary nowadays in any bank. But nung sinabi ko na magoopen ako ng account, i told him for payroll sana. because yung company na pinapasukan ko require us to have a Landbank ATM. Sabi nung incharge sa new account, kelangan pa daw ng endorsement paper from the company Im in. I asked her if wala na bang ibang way, kasi yhung company namin is malayo pa, and kapag bumalik pa ako dun, di na ako aabot. Also eto lang ang vacant day ko. Kasi hanggang 2pm lang ang cut off ng new accounts nila and my work is until 5pm talaga. Sabi niya wala daw ibang way. I also asked her if how about personal account nalang ang kunin ko instead of payroll. Pagbalik ko sa bank, i asked the incharge again, if pwede ba yung endorsement na yun. So after she confirmed na ok yun, i waited for my number to be called. nka dalawang oras na kami sa kahihintay, And i noticed na wala na dun sa table ang girl. still, hinabaan ko yung pasensya ko kahit gustong gusto ko nang lumabas. After 2 hours mahigit, may ibang babae na nagpatuloy sa work dun sa table nga new accounts. when she called my number, i told her that i need to open an account na payroll type. Sobrang hassle talaga. Sana nilagay nalang nila sa list of requirements yung mga kelangan talaga. para ma prepare na before pa kami mag aksaya ng panahon maghintay sa number namin. wala din pala mapapala. I already had experienced other banks and hindi ganito ka hassle. At clear magbigay ng instructions at requirements. Like BPI, eastwest, and rural banks… Honestly, Landbank sucks!

Also sa encashment of cheque ang hirap nilang kausap. Ang gsto nila mag open k ng savings account saknila tpos dun nila ipapasok.
